East Lansing police ask residents to check home cameras after Sept. 19 armed robbery

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — East Lansing police are asking people who live near Charles and Elizabeth streets to check their home security cameras for video tied to an armed robbery in the neighborhood last month.

The robbery happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 near Charles Street and Elizabeth Street, according to a Facebook post from the East Lansing Police Department.

Police are asking residents who live between Abbot Road and Gunson Street, and between Albert Avenue and Burcham Drive, to review their footage from 10:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. that night.

The department said it is looking for footage of four people. Police shared images of the four with the request. The post did not say what was taken, whether a weapon was shown, whether anyone was hurt or if arrests have been made…
