Driver wanted after fleeing deputies during L.A. County street takeover operation

A driver accused of fleeing Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies during a street takeover enforcement operation is now wanted on a felony evading charge, authorities announced Friday.

The incident unfolded Sept. 12 as the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Street Takeover Taskforce was conducting an operation. Deputies spotted a vehicle being driven erratically and believed the driver may have been impaired, according to LASD.
