BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New Directions Youth and Family Services teamed up with the Erie County Department of Health on Saturday at Daemen University to connect families with local resources.
“We are celebrating the unit of families; coming together, finding resources, and just enjoying each other,” Kalombo Komoriko, Family Peer Advocate at New Directions, said. “We are mostly doing this event to remind people that there are resources out here, and parenting is a community event; it doesn’t have to be singular.”
