SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Thousands of people filled the streets of Schenectady on Saturday for the 13th annual Wing Walk. The sold-out event featured chicken wing samples of various flavors, with attendees able to vote for their favorites.

24 restaurants participated in this year’s Wing Walk, including 20 North Broadway Tavern, Grano, Johnny’s, Sabor Borincano and more. Each establishment competed for top spots in several voting categories: People’s Choice Best Overall, People’s Choice Most Creative, Best Sauce/Rub, and Judge’s Choices.

“It was an incredible day in the Electric City, with all the restaurants putting on a show of their creativity in the kitchen,” said Maureen Neufeld, executive director of the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corp. “We were thrilled to have such a wonderful turnout today with smiling faces and enthusiastic participants touring our city on the search for the best wing.”
