BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The news of eight Buffalo Public Schools facing closure or restructuring is now sinking in with families and staff, including at PS 82, The Ronald Peoples School of Scholars.
“Our school is called ‘The School of Scholars’ for a reason,” Joy Jordan said. “We built a specialized, supportive close-knit environment to set Buffalo’s youngest children up for a lifetime of academic success. You cannot just dismantle that community overnight to balance a budget sheet.”
