GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) – A person was wounded by gunfire on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to the 2500 block of East Wendover Avenue in reference to a shooting at 5:56 p.m.

Officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Guilford County EMS.
