PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man was charged with driving under the influence after a wrong-way crash with a state trooper on Interstate 295 in Prince George County early Sunday morning.
According to Virginia State Police, 71-year-old Edward Junious Whitby of Newport News was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-295 at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, when police received reports of a wrong-way vehicle.
