Teen on e-bike struck by SUV in North Tonawanda

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 15-year-old boy was taken to a hospital after he was hit by an SUV while riding an electric dirt bike in North Tonawanda on Sunday, according to police.

Police said the teenager was struck by the SUV at the intersection of Twin Cities Memorial Highway and Schenck Street around 1:22 p.m. Sunday.

The boy was conscious and transported to Children’s Hospital. Officials said the driver and passenger of the SUV were taken to ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
