MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Flu season is approaching fast. So to help make sure the community stays healthy, the Madison County Health Department will be holding events to give out free flu shots.
The free clinics will be held at different locations throughout the month.
Here is the schedule:
- Oct. 6: District 1 – County Shed at 9457 Moores Mill Rd., New Market (9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
- Oct. 8: District 6 – Harrison Wellness Center at 6156 Pulaski Pike, Huntsville (9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
- Oct. 13: District 4 – Monrovia Community Center at 254 Allen Drake Rd. (9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
- Oct. 14: District 2 – Madison City Hall at 100 Hughes Rd., Madison (9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
- Oct., 22: District 5 – South Huntsville Library at 7901 L Bailey Cove Rd., Huntsville (9 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.)
The health department says there will be no out-of-pocket costs, but they ask that you bring your insurance card…
