Last Sunday’s Stabbing Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder, Other Felonies

The man Cortland Police say stabbed a victim and left them in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse has now been charged with attempted murder and three other felony counts.

At around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, September 27, police responded to an apartment at 176 Main Street in Cortland for a reported stabbing.

Officers found a man suffering from serious stab wounds. The victim was taken to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center before being airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where they underwent hours of surgery. Their last known condition was critical but stable…
