Pine Lawn man pleads guilty in a St. Louis fentanyl deal shooting

Terrance McKinnies, 39, of Pine Lawn, Missouri, pleaded guilty Friday to a federal firearms charge stemming from a fentanyl transaction in St. Louis in which two men were shot and injured.

McKinnies pleaded guilty to one count of discharging a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

As part of his guilty plea, McKinnies admitted directing a group to the area of Cass Avenue and Collins Avenue in St. Louis on Dec. 12, 2024, to sell them fentanyl. He had sold fentanyl to the same group earlier that day and once a day or two before the shooting…
