A fall heat wave didn’t keep shoppers away Saturday as Fullerton residents gathered at Independence Park to hunt for secondhand clothes, toys, furniture and other household finds.
The event, hosted by the city of Fullerton, took place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and was one of the four community yard sales scheduled by the city in 2026, with previous events taking place in March, May and August.
Mia Peru, the event organizer, said the yard sale had grown in participation and helped bring more residents into the city’s community events…
