The most eye-opening result in the Southwestern Athletic Conference happened in Itta Bena, Mississippi, on Saturday.
Prairie View led 24-0 at the 9:38 mark of the second quarter, looking like the team that won the SWAC championship last year. But Mississippi Valley State didn’t accept its plight, clawing back to beat Prairie View 28-27 as Terrell Buckley’s team achieved the biggest win of his two-year tenure.
