Outside investigation into St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her cost city nearly $44,000

An outside law firm’s investigation into allegations brought against St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her cost nearly $44,000, according to an invoice obtained Monday by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

St. Paul hired St. Cloud-based Resolute Law in March to evaluate a complaint filed by Police Chief Axel Henry that alleged the mayor had sexually harassed the police chief and demonstrated a pattern of creating an uncomfortable work environment.

The law firm billed $290 an hour for services provided from March 31 through Sept. 24, which included the time to travel to the Twin Cities to conduct interviews…
