Fifth suspect in deadly Chelan Hills Fire pleads not guilty

  • Fifth suspect pleads not guilty to multiple charges in connection with deadly Chelan Hills Fire, bringing total arrests to five.

The fifth suspect arrested in connection with the deadly Chelan Hills Fire pleaded not guilty Monday to multiple charges, including first-degree manslaughter, first-degree arson, first-degree malicious mischief and six counts of third-degree assault.

U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force officers arrested 19-year-old David Radchanka in Roy on Thursday, Sept. 24. His bail is set at $1 million. He was the most recent suspect taken into custody in the case.

The four other suspects,19-year-old Mark Ruslanovech Okhrimchik of University Place, 18-year-old Valentin V. Tabunscic of Tacoma, 19-year-old Julian Alexander Mikityuk of Pacific and 18-year-old Michael Yakimov of Kent, were arrested earlier in September…
