A Siberian laboratory technician’s recent death from pneumonia has sparked concerns about a possible plague exposure, coinciding with a psychic’s unsettling prediction of a new biological illness. The woman, employed at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute of Siberia and the Far East, passed away last week under mysterious circumstances. Although Russian authorities report no direct connection between her illness and the dangerous pathogens handled at her facility, roughly 200 individuals who had contact with her are currently under observation.
The technician reportedly confessed to accidentally breaking a test tube containing live bacteria, but her official cause of death remains undisclosed. Russian health officials insist the regional sanitary and epidemiological situation remains stable, attempting to quell fears of a wider outbreak.
Adding to the intrigue, psychic medium Craig Hamilton-Parker-known as the “Prophet of Doom” for his past accurate predictions, including the coronavirus pandemic and Queen Elizabeth II’s death-warned of an impending respiratory illness about a week before the technician’s death on October 1. In a video released on September 24 titled Warning of Another Future Pandemic, Hamilton-Parker recounted a meeting with two Tibetan monks who described a forthcoming outbreak that would be “different,” more contagious, and harder to control than previous illnesses.
He also claimed the monks revealed knowledge of a cure hidden in ancient texts, reassuring that humanity would ultimately overcome the threat.
The illness at the heart of these concerns is pneumonic plague, caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. This rare but severe form of plague affects the lungs and can be transmitted person-to-person through infectious particles.
According to the UK Health Security Agency, pneumonic plague can develop from inhaling infectious droplets or from advanced bubonic plague spreading to the lungs. Symptoms progress rapidly, often producing bloody sputum, and untreated cases are almost always fatal.
Despite timely medical intervention, the mortality rate remains around 30 percent.
The White House has acknowledged the situation, with a Trump administration official stating that U.S. authorities are “aware, monitoring the outbreak, and assessing options” as they track developments in Russia. Meanwhile, rumors swirl about geopolitical tensions, with reports suggesting that Russia and China may soon announce contact with an extraterrestrial civilization-allegedly in a bid to undermine former President Donald Trump-though these claims remain unverified.
As investigations continue, health officials and international observers remain vigilant to prevent any potential spread of this mysterious illness.
