RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The staffer at the center of the controversy that put an end to Richmond’s solar panel project says he’s just being used as a scapegoat, as he had little to do with the proposal in the first place.
“My personal take is that I’m being scapegoated as some kind of key player in why this has gone south, which is ridiculous,” that staffer, Andre Eanes, told 8News over the phone. “There have been so many issues and so many [people] trying to either push this deal, or — especially, to stall it.”
