Weapons scare on Clermont County school bus prompts police investigation

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A Clermont County school bus was the center of an investigation after a student was reported to have a gun, according to officials.

According to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch was called on Oct. 6 around 4:03 p.m. from the Batavia Local Schools District Bus Garage for a report of a student with a gun.

The bus driver reported that a student told him a 10-year-old fifth-grade student had a gun in their backpack…
