Mother seeks answers a year after Shreveport teen’s killing

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – It’s been over a year since 17-year-old Cameron Ballentine was killed. Now, his mother is asking for the public’s help to bring justice to his family.

On Aug. 31, the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office identified a 17-year-old boy killed in a shooting in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood as Cameron Ballentine.

Ballentine was shot multiple times on the 3300 block of Bond Drive, near Roy Road and Downing Street…
