Nice end of the work week, another soggy weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Beautiful weather will stick around for the rest of the workweek. This will be one of the coolest mornings in the seven-day forecast. It’s not cold, but there is a bit of a chill in the air. Temperatures are starting in the lower 50s inland, while coastal areas remain in the 60s.

Highs today will stay near normal for early October, topping out in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Lower dew points will keep humidity levels comfortable, making the air feel much lighter.

We’ll gradually warm up over the next few days, both during the afternoon and overnight hours. Thursday will stay dry with highs reaching the lower 80s. Overnight temperatures will fall into the upper 50s inland Thursday night, then settle into the mid 60s through the remainder of the week. Along the beaches, lows will stay in the lower 60s Thursday night, and some coastal locations may even start the day in the 70s as we head into the weekend…
