Colorado Springs police find ways to stay competitive when recruiting officers

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) — As the Colorado Springs Police Department prepares for a new training academy to begin, 11 News is taking a closer look at what keeps it competitive.

CSPD Recruiter Joe Langlais said on average, the department loses seven officers a month.
