FBI offers $20K for information about Atlanta kidnapping suspect

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The FBI has doubled its reward for information about an Atlanta kidnapping suspect.

On Wednesday, the agency said it will now give up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Julious George Khalid, 38. It also released new photographs of the suspect vehicle, a white SUV.

On Aug. 7, Khalid and others allegedly pretended to be law enforcement officers and stopped a person at gunpoint on I-20 near Panola Road. The group extorted the victim out of a “large amount of money” before letting them go, according to the FBI.
