HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The U.S. Air Force’s WW2 era B-29 Superfortress bomber & P-51 Gunfighter are in town as a part of their ‘History Restored Tour’. The event is designed to pay homage to veterans and remind the public of history.
“We want to bring a part of history to Huntsville that people don’t get to see. And that’s one of only two B-29s that are still flying today, out of the nearly 4,000 that were built,” said Josh Wells, the bombers CEO.
