COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Residents along Wynn Way in Richland County say they are fed up with what they describe as dangerous, crumbling road conditions that have persisted for years, and they believe the situation has stalled because the road is privately owned.
In the St. Andrews area, residents said deep potholes force drivers to swerve, creating hazards for cars traveling in both directions. “If cars come speeding down this way and cars coming this way, sometimes somebody has to stop and the other person has to go around,” said Donna Lindse, who lives on Wynn Way.
Lindse said she worries the deteriorating roadway will lead to serious damage or injuries. “Somebody’s gonna tear up their car. There’s gonna be an accident. And that’s what I’m scared of,” she said…
