‘We don’t have water and sewer:’ Eastern Henrico residents welcome access to public water line

HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – Some residents in Sandston will have the option to connect to county water after U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan presented Henrico County leaders with a check for more than $1 million Thursday afternoon.

The money will extend public water lines into the White Oak Swamp watershed in eastern Henrico, giving residents an option other than well water, which they have relied on for years.
