Residents of Chamisa Village are asking NMSU for compensation after problems with air conditioning and hot water have ailed the on-campus residence hall since move-in week.
An online petition started by Chamisa resident Anneliese Gonzales calls on the university to compensate students affected by the ongoing water issues. As of Oct. 8, the petition has collected more than 700 signatures.
“I decided to start the petition because I had grown tired of the treatment and lack of services we, as Chamisa Village residents, had received,” Gonzales said.
