A fatal car crash on Friday has shut down all southbound lanes of the East Loop near Clinton Drive in east Houston.
TranStar reported two vehicles collided around 1:46 p.m., causing all the mainlanes, left shoulder and right shoulder to be closed. All southbound traffic is being redirected onto the feeder road.
The Texas Department of Transportation said in a social media post that it’s unclear when the lanes will reopen.
