WILDER, Ky. (WKRC) — Construction has begun on a new Bobby Mackey’s Music World at the longtime nightclub’s original site in Wilder.
Bobby and Denise Mackey marked the start of work by turning the first shovels of dirt at 44 Licking Pike, where contractors are beginning foundation work for the replacement building.
The nightclub has operated at the site since 1978 and became known nationally for its live country music, mechanical bull and paranormal reputation. The aging structure, which was more than a century old, was demolished in December 2024 after plans for a renovation proved too costly…
