A Tampa man who shot and killed a popular DJ during a road rage confrontation in Ybor City has pleaded guilty in a separate violent encounter that happened nine months before the deadly shooting.
Joel Moreno Cobo pleaded guilty in his best interest to felony battery in connection with a February 20, 2025, pistol-whipping incident.
