Republican Jesse Rodriguez is seeking to represent Illinois’ 83rd House District in the November election.
The Aurora native is a business owner with experience in the insurance industry and is a Navy veteran. Rodriguez says he wants to make it easier for businesses and residents to stay in Illinois by cutting what he considers unnecessary taxes.
“It is hard to operate. It’s hard to live here not knowing what you’re going to get taxed on next. And that is a direct outcome of the budget that’s increased, I believe, forty-two percent over the last since [twenty] nineteen. But that’s a beast that just wants more and more what they call revenue for working families and businesses translate to taxes and the increased fees. It’s hard to make ends meet in that type of environment.”…
