Dirt work has started on the site of the new Robertson Produce in Shreveport-Bossier, but the planned 30,000 square foot building at 1559 Airport Dr. won’t be their last. The company is already making plans to grow to 120,000 square feet.
That’s a lot of fresh items, admits Produce Manager Tommy Coward, but the expansive new space will also mean an expansion of products. “My first thought is frozen fruits and vegetables,” he said. “I think we should be able to cover the frozen products when the fresh stuff’s not in season.”…
