DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray Media Iowa State Capitol Bureau) — The campaign for Iowa Democratic candidate for governor Rob Sand confirmed to Gray Media Iowa that a family member got killed Thursday night in southern Iowa.
An Iowa Highway Patrol incident report said that Walter Lauridsen, II, 42, of Des Moines, died when he walked into the road in Lucas County after exiting his vehicle near Chariton.
