Gates, N.Y. (WHAM) — Dog owners in the Rochester area have a new option for helping their pets stay active and mobile with the opening of K-9 Wellness and Mobility on Buffalo Road.
The pet wellness and mobility facility opened just last week, offering movement, conditioning and water-based exercise. Founder Rachel Demanchick, a licensed veterinary technician of 18 years, said she was inspired to start the business after struggling to find similar care for her own pet.
Demanchick said there is “not really a place where owners can bring their dogs to have fun, teach them certain exercises, and swim.”…
