AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Georgia Cancer Center doctor is showing the importance of early cancer screening after completing her own treatment last week.
Dr. Tyra Newton ended her treatment last week after being diagnosed with breast cancer in September of last year.
