Authorities have identified the woman who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend at the Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence last week.
Jessica Cyrus was fatally wounded at the hospital Oct. 22, said llyx McCoy, a spokesperson for the Independence Police Department.
In an obituary, loved ones described Cyrus, 41, as a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and “the most loving and giving person we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. From emotional support in hard times to lending a hand when assistance was needed.”…
