A 78-year-old Ocala man was fatally struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 441 on Friday night, marking at least the ninth pedestrian fatality in Marion County this year.
The accident occurred near the intersection of U.S. Hwy 441 and SE 11th Avenue at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.
