With news Thursday that Colonial Country Club in Texas is likely to lose its PGA Tour event and Kapalua having been dropped from the competition schedule this year, it’s a relief to see that another longtime Tour staple is still going strong. And it soon will have new ownership.
Salamander Collection acquired Innisbrook Resort in 2007, and now that hospitality company is selling the resort to Concert Golf Partners. The Central Florida-based Concert Golf Partners has expanded rapidly in recent years to own and operate more than 40 courses coast-to-coast, and Innisbrook will be its 10th property in the Sunshine State.
