The Smith Mountain Lake Chili and Craft Festival returns to Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta on Saturday, Nov. 7, bringing a day of chili tasting, live music, shopping and family fun to the lake.
Hosted by the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, the annual event will feature nine chili-cooking teams competing for top honors, along with 55 craft and promotional vendors and live music by Martin & Kelly, Big Daddy Ray and Kelly Short.
The chili cook-off will take place on the lower level of the marina, where visitors can sample chili prepared by the competing teams and cast their votes for the People’s Choice and Showmanship awards. An overall Best Chili trophy will also be awarded…
