O’Reilly, Wooten families pledge $1.5 million in matching funds for Drury challenge

The O’Reilly and Wooten families have pledged $1.5 million in matching funds for Drury University’s 150th anniversary challenge.

All donations made to the O’Reilly-Wooten 150th Anniversary Challenge, as part of the Fortify the Future Campaign, will be matched, the university announced Wednesday.

“The O’Reilly and Wooten families are happy to offer this 150th anniversary year challenge as a way to thank Drury for all it has done for us and to celebrate its bright future that lies ahead,” Rosalie O’Reilly Wooten said in a news release.

“We hope many friends and graduates of the university will join us in the celebration and step up to help meet the challenge!”

Donors have the opportunity to designate their gifts to one or more of these targeted areas within the Student Success Fund:

  • Scholarships and Financial Aid
  • Student Services
  • Faculty and Academic Programs
  • Facilities
  • Area of Greatest Need

“Drury is immensely thankful for the unwavering support of the O’Reilly and Wooten families,” said Drury University President John Beuerlein, in the release.
