OZARK, Mo. (KY3) – The Ozark School District is celebrating several upgrades throughout the district. One big one has been completing the solar panels at West Elementary. They’ve already seen significant savings through these panels. The school paid for the panels through the operating budget through a lease and a rebate from the state. With the savings from the panels, the school will pay off the lease over the next 18 to 20 years. The school expects to save around $100,000 a year from the panels.
