What festivals are happening in CNY now that the Fair is over

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The 2024 New York State Fair is officially over, marking a new school year and the unofficial end of summer.

While summer may be on the way out and lots of festivals have come and gone, there are still fun events coming up in Central New York.

Syracuse Irish Fest: September 6-7

Where: Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse

The Syracuse Irish Fest includes music, food, drinks, face painting and even a unicyclist. This celebration of Irish ancestry has an extensive entertainment lineup for Celtic music.

Golden Harvest Festival: Sept. 7-8

Where: Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville

This old-style country fair is the perfect event for the family. You can enjoy fresh donuts, a pie-eating contest, live animals and more.

Annual Craft Festival

Where: 435 Main Street in Oneida

This festival will include live craft demonstrations, different artisans, live music, food trucks and New York State wineries.
