London, Ark. – Arkansas State Police arrested a Texas man after seizing more than 500 pounds of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms. Troopers stopped a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van on Interstate 40 near Pope County for a traffic violation on Monday. During the stop, they reportedly discovered multiple duffle bags filled with marijuana and mushrooms. Officers allegedly found 514 one-pound packages of marijuana and roughly two pounds of psilocybin mushrooms inside the van.
