Early lead not enough for Blackhawk Christian against Osceola

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – After cancelling last week’s game, Blackhawk Christian returned to action against Osceola Christian (MI) on Saturday at Zollner Stadium. However, the Braves couldn’t hold on to an early lead in a 31-22 loss.

Blackhawk Christian opened the game with a strip sack, with Chip Bennett forcing the ball loose. Gage Bennett cashed in with a touchdown run on the ensuing drive.

Trailing 16-14 at the end of the third quarter, Blackhawk Christian got the game within one point. However, Osceola iced the game late with a touchdown drive.

Blackhawk Christian (0-2) looks to earn their first win of the season on Friday at South Adams.
