RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – 964 heroes were honored at the Virginia Public Safety Foundation’s 10th annual memorial ceremony Saturday afternoon. “These are not just names or numbers, they were people. Every hero has a story and every day that passes, some of that history is lost. We cannot allow these heroes and their incredible stories to be forgotten,” said Tracy Russillo, vice president of the Virginia Public Safety Foundation.
