Fayetteville Tech faculty and staff write a love letter to their students

Fayetteville Technical Community College says students looking for motivation and inspiration can find it in the pages of a new collection of personal stories by faculty and staff members.

More than two dozen stories are featured in “The Road to Success: A Love Letter to Our Students,” according to a news release from FTCC.

“The variety of stories, of writing styles and perspectives, and the range of emotions shared throughout this collection is beautiful,” Jennifer Fisher, FTCC’s Department Chair of Advertising & Graphic Design, said in the release. “Everyone’s path to success is different, and that’s not only OK, it’s the norm, the expectation.”

Book contributors

The staff at FTCC’s Paul H. Thompson Library, headed by Library Services Director Mary DiRisio, worked together to publish the book, the release said. Dr. Christopher Thrasher, instructor of history and political science at FTCC, was the editor and wrote the introduction.
