CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake police are investigating a single-vehicle crash a sent a woman to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Around 12:16 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of Head of River Road. Once on the scene, officers learned that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on when it ran off the right side of the road and culvert pipe from a driveway.
Police say the vehicle flipped before it landed in a drainage ditch.
