Two men left dead after a shooting in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Tragedy in north St. Louis overnight Thursday morning as two people were found shot to death outside of an apartment building.

Police rushed to the intersection of North Kingshighway and Aldine Place around 3:20 a.m. Thursday morning after receiving a call for a shooting. The scene is very close to the Wohl Recreation Center and the headquarters for the Urban League.

When officers arrived, they discovered two adult men who had been shot just outside of the Regency at St. Louis apartments. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members of one of the victims say he was a 42-year-old man. Relatives of the victim say he lived at the apartment complex and that he had just returned from picking up a loved one at college when the shooting happened. They say he had no enemies.

At the moment, there are very few details about the other victim except that police say he was in his early to late 20s.
