Land adjacent to the Pololū Trailhead on the Kohala Coast of Hawai’i Island is planned to be donated to the state by a private donor. Steve Bergfeld, Hawai’i branch manager for the DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife, said, “The generous donation comes at a pivotal time as DOFAW just published its Pololū Trailhead Management Plan.”
