Get ready for the biggest Delaware Beer Fest ever.
The annual beer festival, which drew more than 2,500 people last year, is moving to a bigger venue this fall and will bring more vendors than ever before, festival officials have revealed.
The festival will move from its old home at the Figure-8 Barn at Bellevue State Park to Frawley Stadium (801 Shipyard Drive), home of the Wilmington Blue Rocks , when it returns on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In its sixth year, officials say the move was necessary to “accommodate the increase in popularity” over the years.
The Delaware Beer Fest will take place in two sessions that day: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then 4 to 8 p.m.
Ticket options include general admission ($60), VIP ($80), Ultra VIP ($109) and Luxury Suite (20 people, $2,250). All guests must be 21.
Tickets can be purchased at delawarebeerfest.com/tickets . The festival is being hosted in partnership with the Wilmington-based Trauma Survivor Foundation .
