SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced new state support for the city of Springfield, which has been put in the middle of a national debate on immigration. Throughout September, DeWine has offered support for Springfield as the city has experienced a surge in its population over the last several years, primarily due to an influx of legal immigrants choosing the city as their new home.
